Juara motoGP dunia 9 kali, Valentino Rossi telah melanjutkan kontraknya dengan Bridgestone Europe selaku Penasihat Pembangunan Tayar Motosikal ( Motorcycle Tyre Development Adviser )
Seperti perjanjian sebelum ini, Rossi dan Bridgestone bakal promote 'nikmat' bermotosikal di Eropah, men'support' konsep 'track to street' oleh Bridgestone. Kontrak ini bakal menyaksikan perjanjian Rossi sebagai seorang pelumba professional. pasukan MotoGP dan sponsor beliau yang lain tidak terlibat.
"I’ve been working with Bridgestone in MotoGP for many years and have always been impressed by their professionalism and the quality of their products. Continuing this agreement gives me an exciting opportunity to contribute to new Bridgestone motorcycle road tyres", kata Rossi
Manakala CEO dan Presiden Bridgestone Eropah, Franco Annunziato pula berkata, "Valentino Rossi is a great ambassador for our company. With the extension of our agreement, we have secured advice and recommendations from one of the greatest motorcycle competitors of all times, thereby ensuring that we bring the best new Battlax tyres to market."
